Hello everyone! I think the government should allocate sufficient amount for each department so that the services will not be affected. These agencies like the DOJ are the essential if not the most important part of the government system. They protect the welfare of our people and the society. So they are supposed to receive ample budget so that they will be able to resolve all those problems concerning the protection of our people.

Thank author of this post/comment"Really?"

That is certainly a part of what they do. Many might also argue that they spy on citizens, and support inappropriate police-state type activities.

Yup, you definitely got to have ample budget if you want to strengthen national security and counter all those terrorist threats to your country. There are simply no shortcuts to achieving both. You need money to train all your security teams and you need money to buy all those high powered firearms and ammunition.

Beyond that, you need to have great leaders who can help you strategize and win all your battles and missions.

Thank author of this post/comment"National Security"

What good is national security if it results in all the basic rights of the citizens being taken away?

ie: The current vision of "national security" would be a direct blueprint for a "dictatorship".

What gives? What about the founding fathers concepts of strength through freedom?

Biometrics a technology based on their physical or behavioral traits has gained immense popularity in most of the states. It is usually used for the monitoring terrorist activities in most of the countries; and it has provided fool proof results.
