Thank author of this post/commentCorporate media to prove criticism of the government and government officials. ?The litigation expense would be daunting, ? writes Smith, ?the time ...corporate and banking elite that controls and steers it. Goodman is not alone. FCC Commissioner Michael Copps has also come out ...corporate media have pushed the idea that ?citizen journalism? is dangerous and should be licensed and regulated if not eliminated altogether. ...corporate media must act to ensure its monopoly on news by advocating the regulation of bloggers and alternative journalists. It can ...corporate media engages in fraud and abuse continually, although this does not seem to be a concern for Mr. Hazinski. Case

Maybe internet journalists and bloggers would achieve a higher status if they were subject to regulations or had to be certified in some way. Certainly, some writers started writing on the internet, and through having their work published on line, built up a portfolio of work that could be presented to a prospective employer outside of the on line industry.

There are a lot of good license bloggers and internet-based journalists and I think they have contributed a lot for the benefit of technology particularly in the internet blogging. I would agree that it is important to promote legitimate media sources in order to encourage more readers to read the articles made.

I hope that there will be more improvement in the field of internet journalism and avoid any abuses.

Hi there! I think that it is also right to regulate internet bloggers so that they will know what's right and what's not. There are bloggers who are not responsible enough of what they are writing. They have to be very careful about maintaining good reputation in terms of this.

Thank you so much and have a great day to all!

It would take a long time before any government, not even that of the US, can censor or regulate internet journalists and bloggers. Yes, there are a lot of abusive people on the internet but that's the same as having abusive people on TV, print and radio media. Abuse is everywhere and it's up to us if we want to let ourselves be abused or if are going to fight it.
