| I really like the speaker. He is truly a Mathematician. He knows how to connect things for a better comprehension about Mathematics. I like the way he stated, "The key here is key." It makes sense so much to me. As I know, Cryptography is a study of hiding information and very useful for mathematics, computer science, and engineering. So I think Cryptography is very important to keep private information for our own eyes only. |
| I think that cryptography is still cool. It just perhaps has lost its romantic lure due to the ease with which anyone can encrypt something nowadays. There is no more "invention" in it. Anyone can secure his or her files with a basic program like PGP and hardly break a sweat. Gone are the days of heavy locked files and inventing cool codes of dancing men or backwards letters. |
