DVD gone bad

I have a bad DVD. It was burned on a DVD recorder. I tried recovering data with ISO buster, and it came close but the files are unusable. I' hoping somebody here can tell me if there are similar tools available in Linux that I can try before I tell the client they are SOL.

Any advice is appreciated.

Not sure about the tools but you can consult data recovery experts and they can help you in your recovery. Try this link and i am sure you don't have to look around for solution.
