| Hard disk making noiseHi, I'm having the following problem:My external 400gigs HDD (3partitions) was working flawlessly till a couple days ago. Now it does the following: - spin up - start making 3 small clicking noise, pauses for about 1 second, 3 clicking noises... in a loop - XP SP2 recognizes the first partition, but i can't browse it further than the first lvl. I tried HDD recovery softwares but neither GetDataBack nor windows disk management see the drive... I also tried a different HDD (250gigs, 2 partitions) in the same HDD enclosure and it worked fine. Any thoughts on this? |

I had the same problem last year and i found no better solution then contacting data recovery experts. I was charged $150 and all the lost data were successfully recovered.But, this mess cost me around $375 because i have wasted $175 looking for data recovery software that did no good for me. You better contact them and i am sure they will bring good news for you. Good Luck!! |
