| Security is still my priority. I agree from the statement that we shouldn't disclose important identity or information in all transactions that we do. That's why it is very important to know whether you are giving it to a legal person to make sure that you won't be in trouble. I personally consider SSN number as an important identification so be cautious when you give it out. It's your right to show it or not. |
| What I wonder about also, is if citizens realize that it need not be mandatory to have a social security number, according to the constitution. Surely, many government agencies have made certain things difficult to acquire without a social security number which is purely unconstitutional. Still one does what one can. If you must have it to acquire things live driver's licenses, passports, etc... at least you can keep it from companies who have no right knowing it. |
