It sounds like a crazy book or movie, but does it happen to people that they cannot get their identity back and basically have it tarnished forever because of some malicious identity theft?

It is very hard to clear up your identity once it’s been stolen can take years to clean up and clear up. It sucks I know. But happens at times.
