| Using your credit card onlin Do you still get nervous even with SSL? I used to be a lot more paranoid, but with my card protection and the fact that I use reputable companies for my purchases (at least for the most part) I am not as concerned. How do others feel? |
| I'm not too bothered about it really. I think as long as you're looking out for the little lock icon and the site seems professional then you're ok. Remember that a clerk can steal your number in a physical store anytime too so it's not like you're safe there either. |
| You can't really trust anyone with your credit card. Not your store clerks, online websites, or anybody for that fact. Your always going to be at risk when you purchase online or go to the store. |
| How is there any chance of loss? If you don't authorize a purchase you contest it and get a credit for it. Yes, a bit of hassle. But you are inherently protected with a credit card. On the other hand, if someone grabs a wad of cash from your walled... that's the end of it! |
