Article: Federal Government vs. WikiLeaks

Thank author of this post/commentUS authorities are now on full alert level. There has been no threats of a terrorist attack, the alert was rather made possible by an encrypted file named "Insurance" that will be made public by WikiLeaks any day now.

I think that WikiLeaks is becoming more and more alarming. I think that the government should do something about this so to stop Wikileaks from leaking some confidential information about anything.

I don't think that this will benefit any of us. I believe that Wikileaks is just taking advantage of the situation and they are also taking advantage of other people.

Thank author of this post/comment"Open Government"

When I was a young child in School, I learned that the United States was different from all the rest of the countries for a variety of reasons. One was that it was an "open" type of government.

If that was true what is the big deal about wikileaks?

You have a point George. What's the use of WikiLeaks if the government will ban its operations? Was it just made for experimentation or what? Was WikiLeaks a product of trial and error? Well authorities must know what could be the best thing to do on thus. If they want to keep WikiLeaks, they could probably make reform not to totally divulge too confidential matters. Further investigation will surely resolve the issue

If the U.S. was indeed an open government as what George said, then it should not be alarmed with what WikiLeaks is leaking. In fact, Wikileaks would not even be in business if it did not need to leak any controversial or confidential information that the U.S. government should be transparent about.

Still, WikiLeaks is now in operation and it continues to thrive as it uncovers crucial secrets in the U.S. government. Good luck in running after this site's owners.
