'Dateline NBC Pedifile Investigations'

I watch the Dateline investigations on pedifiles everytime there is a new one on tv. I can't believe some of these guys are still at it, even with this issue being highly telivised. It just shows, you never know who to trust. Some of these guys were teachers, doctors, lawyers. It is just aweful, but thank goodness Dateline is out there getting everyone aware of the issue.

Yeah it's digusting how horrible people can be. Remember though, women can be child molestors as well. It's just not as common but women can be just as horrible to children as guys are. These people.. I will never understand how they could destroy an innocent child's outlook on life without thinking twice about it :(

Pedafiles are the scum of the earth whether they be men or women. To use innocent children and even babies in such a manner has got to be lower than the lowest of scumballs.

My suggestion is that once they are tried and convicted they should build a compound that houses these scumbags with hardened criminals. They would not be around long in order to do it again because even the most hardened criminal has a disgust for this type of scum.

The other thing they need to do is one they are convicted to completely and utterly castrate them so that the urge to "USE CHILDREN" will totally disappear. It is a proven fact that 99% of these scumbags will never be rehabilitated and yet they can be put back out into society once they have served their term. What a difference castration would make on their habits.

Our communities need a better system to keep these guys away from our innocent children of all ages. Really, not just the teenage boys and girls. It is all just a sad situation that will hopefully get better. At least, NBC is doing something about it!

It was a brilliant program that must have shocked those people so badly which is obviously what they wanted to do. I watched the expression on each of their faces as they were getting caught and saw remorse in just about all of them. Excellent program!

You would think that by now these guys would be so afraid to meet anyone for fear of being featured on Dateline. Obviously that does not deter these sickos.

I saw an episode in which a teacher was trying to meet a 14 year old girl. I was just appalled. He at first did not want to say what he did for a living but then finally said that he was a teacher and he has "a problem". Makes you wonder how many of these people who are supposed to be in charge of our children are really the perves that are out there.

Yeah, the disgusting perverts that they have caught...how many have they visited before when Dateline wasn't there? That is what bothers me...you know this wasn't the first time these pedofiles were trying to hook up with these youngsters.

Your problem is searching is done by words not images... so you would need to figure out what words he may have used with the photos and search and look.

Of course if he has some something criminal, it is best to let the police deal with it.

people need to talk to their children and teach them about what to do if anything like this happens. Anyone could be a pedifile. Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher Next door neighbor, the child's best friend's father or mother. You just never know. Talk to your children and let them know that you are there for them if they ever need you. Let them trust you to come to you if anything ever happens. At the age of 7, I was molested by my best friends father the night before leaving to go to Disney World. Also while at the Motel in Orlando. I was miles aways from my mom. I told her everything the moment I walked into my house. He walked!

To reply to what someone said about castrating the pedafiles after they are caught wouldn't exactly work in some cases. A lot of pedafiles are put back on the streets and most of the time they are not rehabilitated. They cannot change. But castrating them won't work if they still have the urge to abuse children it will make their crimes more heinous. They will find other ways to penetrate the kids to still inflict the pain and torture and get that "high" they are looking for. Not a bad idea but I think it will make things worse not help.

This is really disturbing and just when you thought that you have safely secure the future of your kids comes this animals. We, parents should be extra careful, vigilant, and open to our children. Keep an open communication with them, ask them periodically about problems regarding other elders such as educators and relatives. Also, properly educate your beloved daughters and sons about impending dangers. The popular quotation "Don't talk or accept anything from strangers" is still a best way to warn your children.

There are indeed sick people out there up to no good. A good friend whose also a psychiatrist told me that these people usually have troubled past like a history of abused which they carry over until they grew up which can have various effects on their way of thinking like perversion, voyeurism, isolation, or committing heinous crimes like murder and rape. that is why you can never be too sure on who to trust your children with.
