Questions: Can an employer steal Facebook photos of employees and republish? - Privacy
| Questions: Can an employer steal Facebook photos of employees and republish? There is a nursing home where I live, and apparently, the administrator has stolen photos off of employee's facebook pages and used them in the monthly newsletter with out permission. Is there recourse for these employees. Or is there not an expectation of privacy since they have a face book? The employees took these pictures and shared them on facebook. So, who would they file a complaint with? I know there is a DMCA but I can't find the part of the law that protects republishing of others photos. |
