Of course any business worth its salt will monitor your computer usage in such a way that such a program won't cover your tracks.

If your company doesn't... that lack any sense of computer security or its importance.

I agree, it is so important for companies to monitor computer usage by employees. This would avoid the situation where an employee is being paid to do the job they have been employed to do, and are just not doing.
