| Answers: I recently upgraded to IE8. Now I am getting "make Yahoo! your homepage I am having copious amounts of problems now that IE8 is installed ie:entire SCREEN shuts off or goes back to Start; entire computer shuts off-no warning; the time, day, and date keep changing; suddenly my Anti-virus & Anti-spyware were no longer covered; old websites I closed out previously suddenly reappear in the middle or completely take over the web page I am currently on; after I reboot the notebook when it has shut down I get a pop-up telling me that the last page I was working on was interupted, do I want it restored?; I am suddenly getting full screen ads or videos I have never seen nor requested to see; I seem to have lost a full inch of space at the top of the screen with headers I do not recognize nor desire to ever use [a different version of Yahoo! Mail for instance, which by my count brings it to 3 different Yahoo email programs]; there are more but these problems are the top on my list! |
