Top Searches: • adding viruses • | Viruses - VirusesVirus software adding virusesI read somewhere that there are these companies that offer free virus software programs you can download, and if you like it you can upgrade to a better version. Well, when you scan your system, they plant a fake virus on your pc to tell you they found a virus so you buy there better package. Is this true? Can they really do that? Do you know of any ones out there that do that? Comment #1 zoya from middle of america - I don't know any but that would not surprise me if some companies did that! It can't be legal but i bet there's loopholes to get around that :( Ugh! Comment #2 Sam from Net - I have also wondered about that. It is a possibility but I think it has a risk also. If the owner of the infected PC takes Legal course then there may be some problem.
