Very few, if any governments, like to give up their prize posession: control over people.the Soviets, Nazis, Baathists, etc. were masters of evesdropping and spying. They all needed to record all the personal details of peopleīs lifestyles. So the tools of spying will never go away. They will be with us forever. Wiretapping is one thatīs a favorite of anyone with enough paranoia to want to know what people are saying about everything, especially about them. It has put many evil people in the cooler, thatīs for sure. So it has a good side. There are volumes to say about invasion of privacy! Cheers! |
