How to tell if my cell phone has been hacked

Thank author of this post/commentThe most effective way to tell if my cell phone has been hacked... or if it has been tapped is to make sure any hack or tap has been fully disabled.

Here are several stop by step instructions:

- Place your cell phone outside on a cement base.

- Wear protective glasses

- Clear the area of any bystanders

- Use a large sledge hammer and hit your cell phone squarely and with as much force as possible

- Repeat the previous step until there are not any pieces more than 1mm square remaining.

To avoid any future problems with cellphone hacking or tapping, simply avoid the purchase, use, or possession of any cellular or mobile devices. Prohibit your friends and family from bringing them into your home as well.

Some people have a terrible experience when their phone was tapped. I tried to call the local phone company to ask for assistance. They found out that the wiretap was illegal. The law enforcement will be notified to remove the device. Hence it is really important to contact the local phone company if you suspect such kind of situation.

Be careful to check the features of your phone to protect out of wiretapping.

I am to totally amazed with you Martin. You made the sleepiness in my accounting go away. What i learned from the smashing is that, you can never tell who taps your phone or if your cell phone is being tapped. Osama bin Laden has been tapped to think that he is the messiah of the terrorists! so if you don't want to be tapped and make every thing secure and private: you can either follow our Martin here or just shrug it off.

That is really one of the most unexpected things that one can do with regards to the problem they have on their mobile phones. I am not sure whether to laugh or just disregard the suggestion you have but I think, hacking or tapping will not be prevented by not using those gadgets or worst, destructing those things. Don't be too stressful on that matter, Software people may have better things in mind.

Is this common? I do not know if it happens as often as you would think, though I would not really know. How does someone tap into a phone? Is this seriously the only way to "fix" the phone from being tapped into? What do you guys think? Is it really important to keep your PIN code lock on your phone? For me it just slows me down, and I don't like it.

(1) Usually a strange SMS will be sent to the phone. You will open it and your mobile phone has been infected with an incurable virus. This could happen at a target residence or office or just being next to someone who is also a target.

(2) PLace your cell phone next to a cheap FM/AM radio. Listen to either a talk show or classical music. If you start to hear a strong radio interference signal, lets say 4 or five times in one minute..you are being tracted.
